A fitness industry visionary, Augie Nieto was diagnosed with ALS in March 2005. Determined to make an impact, he partnered with the Muscular Dystrophy Association to form Augie’s Quest. Augie’s Quest, MDA’s research initiative, is an aggressive, cure-driven effort, singularly focused on finding treatments and a cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease).

All it takes is one event.

Finding the cure for ALS doesn’t start in a lab – it starts with you.
