One Step Closer for the Cure
Last year Group Exercise Studios came together and created a program for Augie that became known as One Step Closer For The Cure. The program involved Members participating in a special Step Class with all the participants giving a donation to take part in this special 1 hour event.
Due to the overwhelming response by members and the energy of the
staff, several Clubs moved this special Step Class to their gymnasium
or outside their Club on their lawn or parking lot to accommodate the
number of attendees.
In addition, Group Exercise Instructors donated their time to co-
instruct these classes providing high levels of fun and energy. The
instructors thanked the members throughout the class and reminded them
that they were helping to find a cure for ALS One STEP at a Time.
